Managing supplier escalations and driving corrective actions where required

Developing alternative sourcing strategies to reduce risk and improve resilience

Working closely with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve supplier-related issues

Optimising Inventory & Materials Management

You'll help ensure inventory is positioned effectively to support business objectives by:

Managing stock levels, reorder points and inventory strategies

Maintaining accurate ERP and MRP data

Monitoring inventory performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

Aligning material availability with manufacturing and project priorities

Leading Logistics & International Shipping

Working with freight providers and logistics partners, you'll:

Coordinate domestic and international shipments

Ensure import and export activities are compliant and efficient

Manage customs, freight and transportation requirements

Monitor shipment performance and resolve delivery issues proactively

Balance service levels, cost and delivery schedules across global logistics activities

Driving Improvement Across the Business

You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to:

Support new product introduction and scaling activities

Lead supply chain escalations and recovery plans

Improve supply chain processes, systems and reporting

Identify opportunities to reduce cost, shorten lead times and improve operational performance

Build stronger visibility across the end-to-end supply chain

What We're Looking For

At least five years' experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management or logistics within an engineering or manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of MRP, production planning, inventory control and purchasing processes

Experience using ERP or MRP systems to manage material demand and supply

Proven supplier management and commercial negotiation experience

Experience coordinating domestic and international logistics activities

Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform decisions
