My current HTML / CSS interface works, but it feels dated, loads slower than it should, and struggles on smaller screens. I want it elevated on three fronts at once: fresh design, leaner performance, and a fluid, fully responsive layout.

Design improvements
• Modernize the overall look and feel without reinventing the brand core.
• Introduce tasteful new visual elements—subtle animations, icons, or micro-interactions—to make the pages more engaging.
• Rework typography and spacing so headings, body copy, and white space read cleanly on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Performance optimisation
• Reduce first-paint and total load times.
• Optimise all images and other static assets (next-gen formats, proper compression, lazy-loading where appropriate).
• Minimise and organise CSS/HTML (and any light JS) so the codebase stays readable yet compact.

Responsive development
Every screen size from large desktop to small phone must render perfectly. Media queries are already in place but need refinement; grids, flexbox, and fluid units should replace hard-coded dimensions where sensible.

Deliverables
1. Updated HTML/CSS (and any supporting files) ready to drop into my existing codebase.
2. Before-and-after Lighthouse or WebPageTest benchmarks proving faster load and smaller bundle size.
3. A brief hand-off note summarising changes, class naming conventions, and any third-party libraries used.

All work should rely on standard, widely supported web tech—no heavy frameworks required—so maintenance stays simple on my end.
