I need a Virginia-licensed structural engineer to determine whether a concrete block retaining wall on my property is still sound after a visible crack appeared. The end product I’m looking for is a concise, written expert opinion that I can use in connection with an upcoming property sale and any related legal paperwork.

I can supply high-resolution photos that show the crack in detail as well as the entire wall, past inspection notes and repair records, plus recent measurements of the crack width, wall height, and any signs of leaning. If you feel the photos and data are sufficient, I’m open to a fully remote review. Should you prefer to confirm conditions on-site, I’m also happy to arrange a visit in the Northern Virginia area.
