I have a backlog of roughly seventy-seven independent structural engineering items that I need to clear in the coming weeks. Each task is discrete—sometimes it’s a quick load check, other times a set of design calculations, a drawing revision, or a brief review of an existing report. While the workload is sizable, the individual assignments are generally small to medium in scope and can be tackled one by one.

Here’s how I’d like to work:

• I will release tasks in batches, always with a written brief, the required output format (PDF, DWG, or editable spreadsheet), and a target turnaround time.
• You return sealed calculations, sketches, or marked-up drawings that are ready for client or authority submission, complete with your professional stamp where applicable in your jurisdiction.
• We’ll keep a shared tracker so both of us always know which of the 77 items are open, in progress, or done.

Because the list is varied, a broad structural skill-set is important. Familiarity with common tools such as AutoCAD for detailing and either SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro for quick frame checks will help you move faster, but if you prefer another reputable package that achieves the same end result, that’s fine—accuracy and clarity matter more than software brand.

I’m looking for someone who can:

• Jump in quickly without extensive onboarding
• Communicate clearly when a brief needs clarification
• Deliver neat, well-organised files that stand on their own (no hidden references or broken links)

If this sounds like the right fit, let’s start with the first batch and build momentum from there.
