1. Comprehensive Structural Calculation Sheet:
Wind load calculations in accordance with the Saudi Building Code (SBC 301) for Riyadh, including the Effective Projected Area (EPA) for all top-mounted equipment (CCTV cameras, radio units, and solar modules).
Overturning moment calculations and stress checks (Bending, Axial, and Shear) for the 12-meter steel pole ( diameter thickness).
Structural design calculations for the base plate and anchor bolts.
Complete foundation stability checks (overturning, sliding, and soil bearing capacity) for the concrete foundation.
Global Stiffness & Serviceability Check: Detailed verification of the pole's lateral displacement (Tip Deflection) under design wind loads, ensuring it complies with operational serviceability limits required for sensitive PTZ cameras (typically restricted to or higher stiffness) to prevent image blurring or vibration fatigue.
2. Drawing Discrepancy Resolution:
There is a direct contradiction in the anchor bolt specifications between the pole detail drawing, which specifies M25 bolts, and the foundation drawing, which specifies M30 grade 8.8 bolts. Please harmonize and revise the drawings accordingly.
3. Geotechnical Report:
Provide the approved soil investigation report for the project site in Riyadh to verify the allowable soil bearing capacity.
4. Shop & Fabrication Details:
Detailed shop drawings showing the welding specifications between the pole and the base plate, stiffener plate dimensions, and structural detailing around the internal battery access door (including collar/doubler plate details to prevent stress concentration).
5. Material & Protection Specifications:
Specification of the steel grade used for the pole and bolts.
Hot-dip galvanizing specifications (thickness and standards) for corrosion protection.
Confirmation of concrete compressive strength ( at 28 days) and non-shrink grout specifications beneath the base plate.
6. Structural Analysis Model (If available):
Kindly share the software analysis model (e.g., SAP2000) if applicable, to expedite our verification process.
