Position: STEM Researcher — Computational Fields
Type:Contract
Compensation:$60–$90/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:35 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

Design tasks by turning everyday research skills into engaging, multi-step tasks.

Author solutions using Python and notebooks, ensuring rigor and precision.

Define criteria for sound scientific reasoning versus superficial reasoning.

Evaluate models by reviewing attempts and identifying immediate mistakes.

Work as a team to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations.

Qualifications

Must-Have

MSc or PhD in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.

1+ years in an active research role.

Experience with Python-based analysis, simulation, or data pipelines.

Strong grounding in experimental design and hypothesis testing.

Familiarity with Git, IDEs, and notebook environments.

Preferred

Experience in AI training, model evaluation, or benchmark/task authoring.

High attention to detail and creativity in task design.
