I have STEP FILE ready for MACHINING and now need a complete mould cut on steel on CNC equipment. Standard tolerance is sufficient for this project, so there is no need for ultra-tight fits beyond normal production practice.
I will supply the CAD model and 2D drawings; you bring the programming, material procurement, machining, and finishing. A smooth surface finish and clean edges are important because the mould will go straight onto my press once it arrives. Please include:
• A brief outline of your machining approach (machine type, typical feeds/speeds, coolant strategy)
• The grade of steel you prefer and why
• Estimated lead-time from receipt of files to shipment
• Any sample photos or inspection reports from previous steel moulds you have produced
Deliverables
1. Fully-machined steel mould, deburred and cleaned
2. Basic dimensional inspection sheet confirming standard tolerance compliance
