Standardize Website Logo Heights

I have 15 individual logos, all supplied as JPEG or PNG files, and I need them to display at an identical height on my website. I haven’t fixed a pixel value yet, so I’d like you to recommend a sensible, web-friendly height that will look sharp on both desktop and mobile screens.

Because I’m unsure whether every logo should keep its current proportions, I also need your advice on aspect-ratio handling. If some marks will look odd when constrained, please flag them and suggest tasteful padding or background fills so the final set feels consistent in a row or grid.
