Standardize Inventory Data in Excel

I have product-detail inventory records stored in a database and I need them transformed into a clean, analysis-ready Excel workbook. Every numerical field—prices, dimensions, weights, reorder points—must follow one consistent format and unit, with invalid or mismatched entries corrected or flagged. I’ll share the database export and the column-naming convention I already use; your task is to extract, standardize and lay everything out so the sheet is immediately usable for look-ups, pivots and reporting.

Deliverables
• A single .xlsx file containing all product-detail inventory data, fully standardized
• A brief changelog or notes sheet summarising the validation rules, assumptions and any issues found

Accuracy and consistency are critical. If you prefer to build a repeatable import script or use Power Query/SQL to speed things up, feel free—what matters is that the finished Excel file is tidy, reliable and ready for business use.
