MTL Portal already runs in staging on Vercel with a React.js front-end and Supabase back-end, but the build is still too fragile for production. My immediate goal is to have you take full ownership of the codebase and get one rock-solid first release out the door.

Priority one: fix and stabilize what is there. Right now the biggest pain is data handling—records either fail to load or show the wrong information. The problem sits somewhere between our React state management and the Supabase queries/RLS policies, so your first tasks will revolve around tracing that flow, correcting queries, tightening permissions, and making sure every page consistently displays the right data and saves updates reliably.

Once the core is steady we can circle back to testing, monitoring, security hardening, and the feature backlog, but none of that matters until the staging build runs error-free. You should feel comfortable reviewing a medium-sized React codebase, tweaking Supabase functions, and deploying through Vercel’s CI/CD.

I’ll give you access to the repo and staging URL on day one. From there we can agree on milestones—stabilized data layer, end-to-end regression checks, production cut-over, then ongoing maintenance and iterative feature work. If you enjoy working independently and can keep communication clear and proactive, you’ll have a long-term spot guiding MTL Portal’s growth.
