My double-sided metal swing gate has gradually started to sag because both supporting posts are loose in the ground. I need someone who can reset or replace those posts so the gate stands perfectly plumb again and closes smoothly without dragging.
The work will likely involve removing or bracing the existing concrete footing, realigning the posts with a level, and then securing them—whether by pouring fresh concrete, anchoring with appropriate hardware, or another proven method you recommend. Welding skills are a plus if the hinges or frames need a quick touch-up once the posts are solid.
Please bring the tools you normally use for gate repair—post-hole digger, mixing gear for concrete, level, torque wrench, grinder, etc.—and dispose of any debris afterward. I’ll be satisfied once:
• Both posts are rigid and square.
• The gate opens and latches effortlessly.
• All work areas are left clean.
Let me know your proposed approach and the estimated time you’ll need on site, and we can schedule the job right away.
