I am setting up a brand-new free-to-air satellite television channel in Sri Lanka and need an expert team to guide me from concept to the first live broadcast. The support I’m looking for covers both the technical build-out and the full spectrum of regulatory paperwork required here.

On the technical side, you will handle all equipment procurement advice, rack-room design, earth-station and uplink installation, and the end-to-end software/system integration that ties playout, automation, MCR, and OTT back-ups together. Once the signal chain is proven from studio to satellite, you will hand over a fully documented, on-air facility; ongoing maintenance can be a separate discussion after launch.

Equally important is navigating Sri Lanka’s broadcasting framework. I need hands-on assistance drafting and filing every licence and permit, ensuring we meet local broadcasting standards as well as regional content regulations, until we receive final authorisation.

Key deliverables
• Complete technical design and bill of materials for a free-to-air satellite channel
• On-site installation and configuration of uplink, playout, and automation systems
• End-to-end signal tests culminating in a successful live broadcast demo
• All licence, permit, and regulatory submissions prepared and filed, with status tracking
