Squarespace Website specialist needed

I am looking for a reasonably priced Squarespace website specialist to help update, maintain, and optimize the website for my wedding and event planning company.

The website is already built and active, so I am not looking for a complete redesign. I need someone who can improve the existing site, keep it updated, make sure everything is functioning properly, and strengthen the website’s SEO so that we have a better opportunity to appear in Google searches for wedding planning services.

The ideal person should have experience specifically with Squarespace and understand SEO for local and service-based businesses.

Responsibilities would include:

* Updating website copy, photos, pricing, services, and other information as needed
* Adding or removing pages and sections when necessary
* Making sure the website looks professional and is easy to navigate on desktop, tablet, and mobile
* Improving page layouts and organization where needed
* Checking links, buttons, forms, and other website functions
* Improving website loading speed and overall performance
* Optimizing page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, URLs, and other on-page SEO elements
* Researching appropriate keywords for wedding planning and event planning services
* Optimizing the website for local SEO, particularly for Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas
* Helping improve rankings for searches such as Pittsburgh wedding planner, Pittsburgh wedding planning, full-service wedding planner, wedding coordinator, destination wedding planner, and related searches
* Reviewing existing website pages to identify SEO opportunities
* Making recommendations for new pages, blog posts, FAQs, or content that could improve organic search traffic
* Connecting and/or reviewing Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other appropriate SEO tools
* Monitoring basic website SEO performance and making ongoing improvements
* Making occasional updates throughout the year as services, pricing, photos, testimonials, and company information change

I would prefer to work with someone who can provide both the initial SEO optimization and ongoing website maintenance rather than hiring separate people for each service.

This is a small business, so I am looking for someone who is knowledgeable and dependable but also reasonably priced. I am open to either an affordable monthly maintenance package or an hourly arrangement.
