SQL Operational Report Generation

I have a set of operational data sitting in a relational database and I need concise, repeatable SQL queries that turn it into clear-cut reports. The focus is squarely on efficiency metrics—think cycle time, throughput, and any other indicators that tell us how smoothly the operation is running.

You’ll connect to the existing database (PostgreSQL) and write well-structured, well-commented SQL that can be scheduled or dropped into a BI tool later. I’ll supply a schema diagram and sample rows so you can test locally; you return the .sql scripts plus a brief README explaining how to run them and what each metric represents.

Acceptance criteria
• Queries execute without errors on the full dataset
• Results match the sample output I provide
• Code is clearly commented and easy to adapt for future trend or workflow-automation work
