SQL Guidance for Stock Data

I created a local SQLite database that holds stock and options information, but I’m still figuring out the best way to store and pull the numbers I need, fast. The tables already capture historical prices and my own trade transactions; what I’m missing is a solid grasp of the SQL required to store and retrieve that data efficiently and in formats I can feed straight into my analytics scripts.

Here’s what I want from our collaboration:
• A review of my current schema to be sure the historical-price and trade-transaction tables support the queries I intend to run.
• Step-by-step examples (with clear explanations) of SELECT statements, joins, window functions, and indexing strategies that work well in SQLite when dealing with time-series market data.
• A short cheat-sheet or reference file so I can adapt these patterns to new symbols or date ranges on my own.
