SQL Database Data Entry Management

I have an existing SQL database that needs regular, accurate data entry and ongoing management. The core of the work is keeping every record current, validating each new entry against our existing tables, and running simple queries to confirm that key fields stay consistent over time.

You will receive raw data files (mostly CSV) on a scheduled basis. I’ll expect you to import them, reconcile any duplicates, flag inconsistencies, and confirm successful inserts. Familiarity with basic normalization rules, foreign-key constraints, and indexing is important because I want the tables to remain fast and reliable as they grow.

Deliverables:
• Cleaned, imported data sets fully integrated into the SQL database
• A brief log of changes, issues found, and resolutions for each batch
• Weekly backup file (.sql dump) after updates

I connect remotely through MySQL Workbench, but if you prefer a different SQL client let me know—I’m flexible as long as the data stays secure. Looking forward to smooth, dependable database upkeep.
