I need an experienced full-stack developer to pull down an open-source Vue.js UI framework from GitHub (I will share the repo once we start), wire it into my existing IntelliJ IDEA workspace, and extend it so it speaks fluently with a brand-new Spring Boot + MySQL back-end.
Scope in the dev environment
• Build and run the front-end locally with Node.js while the back-end runs in Spring Boot.
• Create three separate menu pages, each bound to its own MySQL table (≈30 columns, no joins required).
• On every page include a fast Date range picker and Time range picker so users can filter records by period.
• Users must be able to insert fresh rows and browse existing ones in a clean, paginated table view; row-level detail pop-ups are already part of the framework we’ll be tweaking.
Back-end work
• Generate the simple entity classes and REST endpoints (CRUD + date/time range search) for the three tables.
• Keep it strictly Java 17, Spring Boot, and standard JPA—no exotic libraries unless discussed.
Deployment hand-over
When it’s rock-solid on Windows, package everything and guide me through a fresh install on an Ubuntu VPS. That includes:
- Installing OpenJDK, MySQL Server, phpMyAdmin or a similar admin tool,
- Setting up NGINX as the reverse proxy for both the Spring Boot service and the compiled Vue SPA,
- Providing clear commands or a shell script so I can reproduce the setup anytime.
Deliverable
A fully working web application, ready for browser access on the Ubuntu host, plus concise documentation covering build steps, environment variables, and the one-line commands that start the services.
