The application is already in active development and now needs three key backend milestones completed: brand-new REST endpoints, full MongoDB persistence, and a solid authentication/authorization layer. Nothing has been drafted for these items yet, so the work starts essentially green-field while still fitting into the existing Spring Boot codebase.

Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Security, MongoDB, and Git will be the core stack. I will grant access to the current repository together with the domain model and high-level user stories so you can design, implement, and test each feature end-to-end.

Deliverables
• Well-structured REST controllers, services, and repositories that follow the existing coding style
• MongoDB configuration plus CRUD operations wired to the new endpoints
• JWT-based (or similar) authentication and role-based authorization integrated with Spring Security
• Unit and integration tests that run with Maven and can be hooked into our CI pipeline
• Clean Git commits and a concise README explaining setup and endpoint usage

Acceptance criteria: all endpoints return the correct status codes and payloads, security checks pass for protected routes, and the test suite runs green with mvn test.

Code quality, clear documentation inline, and incremental pull requests are essential so the rest of the team can review and merge seamlessly.
