Spreadsheet-Based Transaction Recording & Reports

I need help keeping my day-to-day finances organised in a simple spreadsheet environment (Excel or Google Sheets—whichever you prefer). Your main focus will be two things: first, logging every bill or payment I forward to you so the running history stays complete and easy to trace; second, turning that raw data into clear summary reports I can review each week.

Workflow
• I’ll email or share invoices, receipts and payment confirmations as they come in.
• You record each item promptly with the right date, description, amount, category and any reference notes.
• Once a week you send me an updated copy of the sheet plus a concise report showing totals, trends and anything unusual I should know about.

What matters to me
• Absolute accuracy—numbers in the sheet must match source documents.
• A clean, logical layout so I can filter or pivot the data later without re-formatting.
• Timely delivery of the weekly report (PDF or dashboard view is fine).
• Discretion: documents contain sensitive information, so they stay within our shared drive.
