Sports speaker bureau website rebuild or extension, with an AI-assisted content and speaker-management layer. This is a competitive RFP — a full 16-section written RFP is available on request.

WHO WE ARE
A US sports speaker bureau. We represent a large roster of professional and Olympic athletes and book them for corporate events, conferences, fundraisers and campus appearances. Our current public site runs on Strapi (Node).

PRICE BOTH OF THESE SEPARATELY
Option A — Extend the existing Strapi build: keep the CMS and content model, improve the front end, information architecture, SEO and speaker-management workflow, and add the AI layer.
Option B — Greenfield rebuild on a stack you recommend and can justify, with full content migration.
Bids that price only one option will not be evaluated.

MANDATORY — THIS IS AN ELIGIBILITY GATE
The AI content and speaker-management layer is not an optional add-on. If you cannot deliver it, please do not bid. Answer these five questions directly in your bid:
1. Accuracy — how do you prevent fabricated biographical facts about a real person? What is your grounding approach?
2. Human review — what is the exact editorial workflow between generation and publication, and where does approval live in the CMS?
3. Rights and likeness — how do you handle image rights, photo credits and athlete approval of copy written about them?
4. Model provider — which provider(s), what happens to our content, and can we switch later without a rewrite?
5. Error handling — what happens when the model is unavailable, rate-limited, or returns something unusable mid-publish?

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- SEO is a primary business driver. Documented URL redirect map from the existing site, preserved rankings on our highest-traffic pages, structured data for people and events, per-page metadata control, working XML sitemap.
- Inquiry and booking forms integrate with our CRM. We are on GoHighLevel and evaluating HubSpot — handle either, and say what changes if we switch.
- WCAG 2.1 AA as a delivery requirement, not later remediation.
- Stated performance budgets and Core Web Vitals targets, tested before handover.
- First-party event tracking plus GA4.

OWNERSHIP AND RUN COSTS
- We own the source code outright at completion. No proprietary CMS we cannot leave.
- Handover includes documented local dev setup, deployment runbook and a working staging environment.
- Itemise ongoing monthly run costs separately from build cost: hosting, any CMS licence, AI/model usage at our expected volume, search, email, monitoring.
- Quote maintenance and support separately: response times, what is included, what is billed.

BUDGET
Maximum US $20,000 for the build. Propose your own milestone schedule with deliverables tied to payments.

INCLUDE IN YOUR BID
Two prices (A and B) and what differs; answers to the five AI questions; two or three live content-heavy, people-driven sites you built and your specific role on each; one SEO-preserving migration you ran and what traffic did afterwards; itemised monthly run costs; team composition and who we talk to weekly; timeline with milestones.

Copy-paste boilerplate bids will be ignored. We read every bid that engages with the questions above.
