Sports Documentary Editor (F1 Narrative & Archival Editing)

Looking for an experienced, long-term freelance video editor based in India to edit a high-end, 10-to-12-minute cinematic sports documentary about Formula 1 (Focus: 2018 Sebastian Vettel / Ferrari season). If this first video goes well, this will turn into an ongoing, long-term partnership for a full channel pipeline.

​Your Core Responsibilities:
​Visual Sourcing & Archival Research: You will be responsible for independently sourcing all genuine 2018 F1 archival photos, team portraits (e.g., Ferrari, Sergio Marchionne), and short broadcast clips (Vettel, Hockenheim, Bahrain, etc.) required to match the script.
​Copyright & Monetization Safety: All media must be heavily transformed, stylized, and cut into short fragments (video clips under 5-7 seconds, smooth Ken Burns pans/zooms on editorial photos) to protect the channel from copyright strikes and ensure full monetization capability.
​Script-to-Video Accuracy: You must accurately match the visuals, pacing, and data points to the provided script and narration. If the visual execution does not align accurately with the script context, you will be required to make the necessary revisions until it is correct.
​Text & Data Overlays: Add clean, minimalist sans-serif text callouts for data points (lap numbers, point gaps, date/location stamps) matching a professional Netflix documentary aesthetic.
​Audio Mixing: Blend the voiceover cleanly with subtle, moody background tension music (no copyright audio).
​Ideal Skills & Software:
​Proficiency in CapCut Desktop or Adobe Premiere Pro.
​Experience with documentary, essay-style, or sports editing (e.g., MagnatesMedia style pacing).
​Strong visual storytelling, resourcefulness in sourcing assets, and attention to detail.
