About the role
The Account Manager is responsible for complete ownership of the client experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our sports clientele. With a strong understanding of the sports and tournaments landscape and a passion for building relationships, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our revenue targets and contributing to the company's growth. They are always focused on delivering client satisfaction while maintaining positivity and professionalism under pressure. This job can require long hours and weekend work during peak season. This individual must have a deep understanding of all travel services offered and be able to effectively negotiate and communicate with clients, vendors, sales, and operations alike, ensuring timely, accurate updates are provided in a competitive market. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, fulfill customer satisfaction and drive optimal results. What you'll do
Client Communications
Uphold Road Rebel's promise of white glove service while going the extra mile for customer satisfaction.
Communicate at a high level regarding all services and present options.
Positive communications and problem solving with clients and Road Rebel team.
Obsessive about accuracy and details of the trip, from itinerary through delivery.
Maintain client relationships, projects, and deadlines, and assist in any conflict resolution.
Develop a trusted relationship with key accounts.
Be adaptable and flexible to constantly changing requirements dictated by client-driven or other factors.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with coaches and administrative staff.
Leverage existing relationships to generate referrals and additional business opportunities.
Operational Proficiency
Understand all forms of service requests for Air, Housing, and Ground Travel.
Review all final options prior to sending to the client, by or before the deadline date, ensuring all options address client priorities, all details are accurate, and provide appropriate guidance.
Resolve any issues that may derail meeting itinerary delivery dates.
Have hotel brand-specific knowledge and be able to recommend appropriate properties.
Work with management to achieve market goals, ensure workload is distributed properly, and receive assistance as needed.
Deliver white glove service and go above and beyond for client satisfaction.
Qualifications
3-5 years of professional experience in an athletic client-serving and/or sales role
Passion for building relationships and being part of a collaborative team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelor's degree required
Experience in travel, logistics, GDS Sabre, hospitality, and tournaments a plus
Familiarity with Salesforce or other major CRM platforms a plus
