Seeking Fully Bilingual Narrator (English / Spanish) for Audiobook
Hello,
I am looking for a professional narrator to record my audiobook.
Deliverables:
Opening credits
Closing credits
Separate file for each chapter
Audiobook sample
Audiobook credits
All files must meet the audio standards required by the platforms where they will be distributed.
Audio Requirements:
Final files must be fully edited, mastered, and 100% compliant with ACX/Audible technical standards (-23dB to -18dB RMS, -3dB peak, -60dB noise floor, 192kbps MP3 mono). Full list of requirements provided upon hiring.
100% human narration, editing and mastering. AI-generated voices, AI audio enhancers, or automated AI editing tools will not be accepted.
Project Details:
Budget: 70 per finished hour (PFH)
Manuscript Length: Approximately 75,000 - 80,000 words
Estimated Total Duration: Approximately 10 hours of finished audio
Total Payment: 700 USD
You will be paid per finished hour (PFH), which includes edited and mastered files that meet the platform's audio requirements.
Audition Process
Before hiring, interested candidates will be asked to record a short 1 -2 minute custom audition from my book using a small sample excerpt provided from the manuscript (containing text in both English and Spanish).
Freelancers interested in applying can message me to request the short excerpt for the custom audition. Please note that excerpts will be provided upon request
Initial milestone
Once the narrator is selected and hired, the project will begin a 20-minute initial paid milestone covering specific selected pages as a quality checkpoint to review tone, pace, and technical specs before moving forward with the rest of the manuscript.
Upon receiving the files, I will review them to ensure they comply with the audio standards. If there are any errors in narration or the files do not meet the technical specifications, I will notify you for corrections.
Funds will be released once the complete set of audio files is delivered and verified to meet the required standards.
How to Apply: If you are interested, please send me a couple of samples from your previous audiobook narration work (at least one in English and one in Spanish) showing a calm, unhurried pace.
