We’re building a high-quality Spanish speech dataset and are looking for native speakers and recruiters in Mexico, Peru, and Costa Rica. It’s simple, remote, and done from your smartphone.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Activity: Read 450 short sentences aloud using a designated mobile recording app
Text: Provided in App
Countries: Mexico, Peru, and Costa Rica (200+ participants per country)
Rate: USD 12.50 per completed participant
SCOPE OF WORK
Install the recording app and record the provided sentences in a clear, natural voice
Complete the full set of recordings
Recruiters and teams: source participants, support their app setup, and ensure each participant completes their recordings
Each participant may take part only once
PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS
Native Spanish speakers residing in Mexico, Peru, or Costa Rica
A working smartphone and a quiet place to record
A balanced mix of male and female participants across age groups is required
WHO CAN APPLY
Individuals who meet the requirements above
Data collection companies or agencies with established participant networks
Community leaders, group organizers, or local coordinators in any of the three countries
PARTICIPATION ELIGIBILITY
Participants who have already contributed to this project through any other team, particularly within the past 7–10 days, are not eligible. This applies to the following tasks:
Mexico: D000317
Peru: D000318
Costa Rica: D000319
The platform’s quality system detects repeat contributions automatically, and duplicate recordings are not eligible for compensation.
COMPENSATION TERMS (per participant)
Milestone 1: USD 5, funded at project start
Milestone 2: USD 7.50 remaining balance
Payment is released only after the recordings are accepted by the DataPlus Quality Control team
Recording approval is decided entirely by DataPlus QC, not by our team, and we cannot release payment before their acceptance
The QC review usually takes around 10–14 working days, though it may be shorter or longer depending on review volume. Please apply only if you are comfortable with this timeline.
