I have a complete patent application that now needs an accurate Spanish version ready for filing. The original text is roughly 12,000 words and is written in standard USPTO format: claims, specification, abstract, and drawings captions. Precision is essential—the technical terminology as well as the legal phrasing must remain fully intact so the meaning is identical to the source.
What I need from you:
• A native-level Spanish translation of the full document, delivered in the same structure and numbering as the original.
• Consistency in terminology across claims and specification (use of CAT tools is welcome if it helps).
• A short glossary of any specialised terms you standardise along the way.
• Final file in editable Word plus a clean PDF.
I will provide the Word source file and a reference list of key technical terms already approved by our engineering team. Please keep everything strictly confidential; I will ask you to sign an NDA before sharing the files.
If you have proven experience translating patent applications or other legal-technical texts, especially in the mechanical or electromechanical field, I would like to see a sample. Turnaround is seven days from acceptance, but let me know if you need an extra day for a final proofread—I prefer quality over speed.
I look forward to working together on a flawless Spanish version that sails through the patent office.
