I have a full-length Spanish-language romance/drama movie with fully timed Spanish subtitles. I need those subtitles translated into clear, idiomatic English while preserving tone, meaning, and original timing. Because the film’s dialogue leans toward formal speech, the English track must also read formally—no slang or casual contractions unless the source line calls for it.

The Spanish .srt file is ready; you will work directly in that file so the timecodes remain untouched. I’ll spot-check lines throughout the film, so consistency in register and accurate rendering of emotional nuance are essential. Cultural references should be localized only when it helps the audience understand the intention without losing authenticity.
