I need a specialist who can locate, vet, and present land parcels in Southeast Asia that are genuinely ready for a large-scale data-center build. The plots must be large enough for multiple halls, offer stable grid power with room for a future substation, sit on or very near diverse fiber routes, and avoid high-risk flood or seismic zones. Freehold is preferred, but a long-term, renewable lease is acceptable if local legislation is clear.
You’ll be expected to tap into regional brokers, government investment boards, industrial park operators, and your own on-ground contacts to verify ownership, indicative pricing, available utility capacity, and any incentives. A working knowledge of latency mapping, redundant power design, and environmental compliance will help you filter sites quickly.
Deliverables
• At least three viable sites presented in individual reports (PDF or PowerPoint) detailing: exact location and size, ownership structure, asking price range, existing and expandable power (MW), fiber connectivity options, latency to major hubs (Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong), risk profile, and a realistic timeline from purchase to groundbreaking.
• Contact information for each landowner or government agency involved.
• A comparison matrix that places all shortlisted sites side by side for quick decision-making.
If you can also assist later with negotiations, permits, or local incentive applications, please say so—those skills will be a clear advantage.
Include any previous data-center or industrial land acquisitions you’ve handled and let me know how soon you can deliver the first shortlist.
What we need:
- Power: 20 MW available now, scaling fast to 40 MW+ (100 MW+ very interesting)
- Land: 5 ha minimum (~1 ha per 10 MW), or an existing building from 10,000 m² with a solid slab
- Guaranteed power supply, clear permit path, fiber. No water needed — oil cooling.
