Sophos Firewall/Microsoft 365 & Infrastructure Administration

I need a seasoned IT Infrastructure Manager who can take full ownership of my mixed environment. The top priority is monitoring and securing our network through Sophos Firewall—reviewing current rules, tightening IPS and web policies, enabling meaningful alerts, and reacting to incidents before they escalate.

Beyond the firewall, you’ll keep our Microsoft 365 tenant running smoothly. Exchange Online, , and properly governed with clear policies, permissions, and retention settings.

On-prem workloads sit on Windows Server hosts virtualised with Hyper-V. You’ll build new servers, harden and patch existing ones, watch performance counters, and troubleshoot anything from failed backups to unexpected reboots.

Deliverables
• Weekly health report summarising Sophos threat logs, network performance, and any remedial action taken
• Documented change log for every adjustment made in Sophos, Microsoft 365, or Windows Server
• Prompt resolution of all high-severity alerts.

Success means a quiet monitoring dashboard, no unanswered alerts, and clear documentation. If you live daily inside Sophos Central, the Microsoft 365 admin centre, and Hyper-V Manager, I’m ready to work with you.
