Somali–English Audio Translation

I have a collection of audio and video clips that move back and forth between Somali and English. I need each segment carefully transcribed in its source language and then rendered into a clear, natural translation in the target language. Tone, idioms, and cultural references matter; I’m looking for accuracy that still sounds fluid to native ears.

Typical files are MP3 or MP4, under 30 minutes each, and I’ll share them as I go. There’s no fixed deadline, so you can focus on quality rather than speed.

Deliverables
• Source-language transcript for every file
• Side-by-side Somali ↔ English translation (or separate documents if you prefer)
• Optional: time-coded SRT or VTT subtitles if you work with subtitle tools like Aegisub or Subtitle Edit

I’ll review each batch on delivery and confirm terminology or style tweaks before we proceed to the next. Let me know your experience with Somali dialects, any CAT or subtitle software you use, and a brief sample of past work if possible.
