I’m building a small city-builder style interface for my software and I need a cohesive visual pack to anchor the look and feel. The job is straightforward: create an isometric map base and roughly twenty-five individual building icons, all unified by a solarpunk aesthetic that fuses abundant greenery with visible, forward-looking technology. Think airy glass, trellised façades, solar arrays and wind micro-turbines wrapped in lush vegetation—futuristic yet grounded, optimistic and practical. All have reference materials if requested.
Color direction sits firmly in earth tones and greens; muted clays, warm woods, fresh foliage and the occasional copper or brushed-steel accent. The palette should read natural first, then high-tech on closer inspection. Please avoid neon or hyper-saturated hues so everything feels organic when placed together.
Scale and perspective matter: every element must be rendered in clean isometric view so the icons drop seamlessly onto the map grid without perspective clashes. Consistency of line weight and lighting angle will keep the set feeling like a single hand.
For clarity, here’s what I’ll need handed over:
• A high-resolution isometric map canvas (layered, minimum 4K on the longest side) that leaves room for the icons to sit naturally.
• Approximately 25 individual building icons, each delivered as separate transparent PNGs plus an editable vector or layered source file (AI, PSD or similar).
I will be selecting based on the best artistic style that matches what I'm envisioning rather than raw price, however I am on a budget as an independent, just me, studio.
