Production Solana copy-trading bot for Solana Hyperion
Solana Hyperion is a Windows 10/11 desktop workstation. Version 0.14.0 is already packaged. Python 3.12, PyQt6, local SQLite. It watches public wallets, stores PAPER orders, and draws one-minute candles when a mint has a public pool. PAPER fills are simulated and are never signed or broadcast. LIVE trading is disabled and must stay disabled until a separate, explicit authorization in this contract.
Wallet copy is already in the strategy list and is turned off. The current reason is: “Signatures are unclassified, so a copy cannot choose buy or sell.” The missing piece is a decoded swap. This contract makes copy trading production-ready. Do not replace the kernel, the local database, or the fail-closed default.
What to ship
An operator picks a public leader wallet, the mints to follow, a size rule, slippage, a cooldown, and a daily cap. The bot reads that wallet’s confirmed transactions, decodes the actual swap, and decides buy or sell from that decode. If the transaction cannot be decoded, it submits nothing and records the reason.
PAPER mode stays the default. A copied trade in PAPER goes through the existing broker, is simulated at the operator’s limit, and is never broadcast. Orders, positions, realized PnL, and Activity Logs update from that stored result. A stopped or paused strategy does not submit. Restart restores state and does not fire a trade by itself.
LIVE mode is a second milestone. It stays off until the operator turns it on in the product, with a confirmation that names the leader wallet, mint, side, and size. LIVE orders are signed only from a local signer the operator provides. Private keys and seed phrases are never written to the database, the window, the logs, or an audit row. A failed or unclear decode does not fall through to a guessed trade.
Risk controls already in the app still apply: trading on or off, max quantity, daily cap, and the mint allow list. Add copy-specific limits for max slippage, minimum leader size, cooldown, and one open copy per leader wallet and mint. Duplicate leader transactions must not create a second order.
Keep
Settings, Activity Logs, Wallet Tracker, Risk Manager, Positions, Orders, the manual Trading ticket, limit strategies, and the candle chart. The chart plots stored market candles only. A mint with no pool stays empty. The RPC URL never appears in the window or the logs. Host and latency may.
Do not build
Momentum, volume, and reversal. Fake swaps, sample prices, or a guessed buy or sell. A cloud signer, a shared key file, or a way to export the operator’s key. An installer change unless the existing dist\SolanaHyperion build breaks.
Acceptance
On PAPER, a watched public wallet with one real decoded swap produces one PAPER order and the broker’s sentence. An unclassified signature produces no order. Restart does not repeat it.
On LIVE, the same path broadcasts only after the operator confirms that order. The key is not present in the database or the log. With LIVE left off, behavior matches PAPER. The current pytest suite stays green, with new tests for a decoded swap, an undecodable signature, a duplicate leader trade, and LIVE remaining off by default.
