My current research programme is entirely dedicated to soil management, and I need an agronomist who can drive the R&D effort from sampling all the way to actionable recommendations. The core work revolves around three intertwined themes:
• In-depth analysis of soil quality – setting up a reliable sampling protocol, running laboratory tests, and interpreting the data with modern analytics tools.
• Techniques for soil conservation – translating findings into erosion-control and structure-building practices that fit our cropping system and climate.
• Practical fertility management – balancing nutrients through organic and mineral inputs while maintaining long-term soil health.
Field visits, laboratory coordination, data processing (R, Python, or similar), and clear reporting are all part of the assignment. I will supply background data and site access; you will return a baseline assessment, a conservation strategy, and a step-by-step fertility plan, each backed by the methodology and raw data so results can be replicated or peer-reviewed.
If you already work with GIS layers, remote-sensing indices, or advanced statistical models, please highlight that experience—the project welcomes innovative approaches as long as they are scientifically sound and well documented.
Deliverables will be reviewed against clarity, reproducibility, and measurable improvement potential in soil health indicators.
