About Dispensed
AtDispensed,we are passionate about empowering individuals to reach their full potential by supporting better health outcomes. We believe that access to innovative and alternative therapies can transform lives. Through our telehealth platform, we facilitate patient access to affordable, efficient, and reliable alternative medicine services across Australia, NZ and the UK.
About The Role
Dispensed is building the infrastructure that gets healthcare to patients across Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and this role sits at the centre of that work. As a Software Engineer, you’ll own features end-to-end across our TypeScript, Next.js and Node/Supabase stack, working on the systems that connect patients with clinicians, process prescriptions, and support patients accessing alternative healthcare.
You’ll join an engineering team that moves fast and holds high standards. A big part of this role is building and improving the integrations that connect our platform with the third-party systems our clinical, support and operations teams rely on. Your work has a direct impact on the care we deliver, so we’re looking for someone who thinks about business outcomes, not just the next ticket.
What You’ll Own
Delivering features across the full stack, from API design through to frontend implementation, and seeing them through to production
Building, maintaining and improving integrations with third-party platforms, so our clinical, support and operations teams have the data and tooling they need
Working with data across our platform, designing schemas and queries that are reliable, performant and built to scale
Breaking down your own work, mapping out dependencies, and keeping your team informed when timelines change
Giving specific, useful feedback in code review that improves quality and shares context
Identifying technical risks early and raising them before they escalate
Working closely with product managers and challenging technical directions that conflict with business or user needs
What You’ll Need
3+ years of commercial software engineering experience
Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
Solid data experience, including database design, SQL, and working with data across services
Experience building and maintaining third-party integrations and APIs
A business mindset, with a focus on outcomes and company goals
A genuine interest in healthcare and improving patient access to care (experience in health tech or with clinical systems is a bonus)
What We Offer
Work From Anywhere in Australia
A competitive salary and awesome benefits package
A supportive and positive work environment
Opportunities to grow and develop your career
Opportunity to transform lives through alternative medicine
