I’m adding a “one-click” PDF-to-Excel feature to my website and need an executable that can take any uploaded bank statement in PDF form and return a clean, well-structured XLSX file for the user to download. At this stage I’m not tied to specific bank templates—the tool should handle common layouts gracefully and be easy to extend later if we decide to fine-tune it for particular institutions.

Because the service will be open to everyone who lands on the page, stability, speed, and simple error handling are crucial. Visitors will not log in; they will just drop a file, hit convert, and immediately receive the spreadsheet, so there’s no room for lengthy queues or time-outs.

Here’s how I picture the workflow:
1. User uploads PDF via the web interface.
2. Your executable runs server-side, detects tables, dates, descriptions, and amounts, and maps them into the standard columns I’ll provide.
3. The generated XLSX is streamed back to the browser for instant download.

I’m flexible on your chosen stack—Python (with Camelot, Tabula, or pdfplumber), .NET, or anything you trust for production is fine—as long as the final deliverable is a self-contained .exe with clear integration instructions and minimal external dependencies.

To help me confirm everything is on track, please include:
• The compiled .exe ready for deployment
• Source code with concise comments
• A short README covering setup, command-line usage, and the REST hook my site will call
• Brief notes on how new bank layouts could be added later without a full rewrite

If you have past experience extracting tabular data from PDFs or have demo samples, share them so I can see the accuracy you achieve. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on an approach and timeline.
