I’m looking for an experienced social media manager/strategist to help grow and develop an existing Instagram account for an individual artist/creator and personal brand.
The account already has an established audience, good engagement and a substantial amount of existing visual content. I’m looking for support with developing a clearer strategy, increasing reach beyond the existing audience, improving consistency and building a larger, genuinely engaged community.
The content covers several areas of my life, interests and creative work, including art, personal/lifestyle content and occasional discussion of chronic illness. I want these different elements to sit naturally together rather than being forced into one narrow niche. In particular, I don’t want chronic illness to become the defining subject of the account.
My goal is to develop a recognisable, personality-led online presence, grow organically and create more opportunities from my social media over time.
I’m looking for someone who can support me with content strategy, recurring series and concepts, Reels/short-form video ideas, hooks, content planning, use of existing photography and footage, captions, analytics, profile optimisation and organic growth strategies.
I would particularly value someone who can look at my existing content and identify what is already working and how it could be developed, rather than replacing it with an entirely new or generic social-media style.
I’m not looking for a feed primarily made up of templates, generic graphics or corporate-style content. The account should remain personal, visual and recognisably mine.
Experience working with individual creators, artists or personality-led personal brands is strongly preferred.
When applying, please include examples of relevant accounts you have worked with, what you personally contributed to them, and how you generally approach organic growth for an individual creator.
I will share the account itself and more information about my work, audience and goals privately with shortlisted candidates.
