Company
Gantri is one of the most innovative and fastest-growing design manufacturers in the world. We pioneered the use of digital manufacturing and plant-based polymers to create high-quality, sustainable lighting products onshore and on-demand. As the most awarded design manufacturer in America, we operate the world’s largest 3D print farm right here in the Bay Area.
Role
We're looking for a Social Media Strategist to own and elevate how Gantri shows up across social. This is not a content production role. Instead, you'll serve as the internal owner and strategic conductor of Gantri's social ecosystem—working with creative agencies, production partners, influencers, and internal teams to ensure we are consistently creating and publishing exceptional content that builds the brand and drives the business.
You'll own the social strategy, channel direction, content calendar, agency relationships, and performance measurement across Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms over time. You'll translate Gantri's brand and design point of view into clear creative briefs, guide external partners toward strong platform-native work, and maintain a high bar for the quality and consistency of everything that goes live.
Just as importantly, you'll be responsible for understanding what is working and what isn't. You'll analyze social and marketing performance with our agency partners, connect activity to meaningful business outcomes, and continuously refine our strategy, creative, content mix, and channel approach to drive stronger results.
This is an ideal role for someone who has spent time on the agency or brand side managing social programs, knows how to get the best work out of creative partners, and combines strong creative judgment with rigorous commercial thinking.
This role will report to our Head of Brand.
What You'll Do
Own Gantri's social media strategy across Instagram (Reels, Stories, Posts), YouTube, and other channels over time
Serve as the internal owner of social operations, coordinating agencies, creative partners, influencers, and internal stakeholders to keep the entire social engine moving
Manage external agencies and production partners responsible for creating social content, ensuring they have clear briefs, priorities, feedback, and direction
Translate Gantri's brand, design point of view, product stories, and marketing priorities into clear creative briefs and content direction
Set and maintain the creative and editorial bar for Gantri's social channels, ensuring agency-produced content feels distinctive, premium, culturally relevant, and true to the brand
Build and manage content calendars and publishing plans, ensuring consistent cadence and alignment with product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and broader marketing priorities
Stay ahead of platform trends, formats, cultural moments, and emerging social behaviors, and identify opportunities for agencies and partners to translate them into relevant Gantri content
Lead the strategy for community management and social engagement, working with partners to ensure Gantri's voice and standards are consistently represented
Own social performance reporting and analysis, going beyond surface-level engagement metrics to understand what is driving awareness, consideration, traffic, and ultimately sales
Work with agencies to establish clear KPIs, analyze results, identify learnings, and iterate on creative and strategy based on performance
Develop a strong understanding of which content, formats, audiences, creators, and campaigns are contributing to business results—and use those insights to inform future investment
Partner closely with Brand, Creative, Design, Sales, and other marketing functions to ensure social is integrated into broader launches and campaigns
Identify opportunities to improve Gantri's social operating model, including agency workflows, content development processes, measurement, and channel strategy
Bring structure and accountability to a fast-moving environment where priorities, partners, and opportunities will evolve quickly
Required Experience
6+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, integrated marketing, or a related field, ideally with experience on both the agency and/or brand side
Proven experience owning social strategy and managing external agencies, creative partners, or production teams
Demonstrated ability to translate a brand strategy and creative vision into clear briefs, direction, feedback, and actionable content plans
Deep expertise in Instagram and strong understanding of how content and audiences behave across major social platforms
Strong understanding of social analytics and performance marketing, with the ability to move beyond vanity metrics and connect social activity to meaningful business outcomes
Demonstrated experience using performance data to evaluate, iterate, and improve social strategy and creative
Strong creative judgment and a refined understanding of what makes content feel culturally relevant, platform-native, and on-brand
Excellent project and stakeholder management skills; able to manage multiple agencies, partners, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when developing creative briefs, providing feedback, and communicating performance insights
Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment, make decisions with incomplete information, and bring structure to ambiguity
Preferred Experience
Experience working with premium design, home, interiors, lighting, architecture, fashion, or lifestyle brands
Experience managing influencer, creator, or UGC programs through external partners
Experience working with creative, social, influencer, media, or production agencies
Experience managing social programs with lean internal teams and external agency support
Experience connecting social performance to e-commerce, sales, revenue, or other hard-funnel business metrics
Familiarity with social analytics and management platforms such as Sprout Social, Later, or native platform insights
Experience launching or scaling social programs for a growing or emerging brand
Strong understanding of paid and organic social and how the two work together
Experience working across multiple markets or with international audiences
