About the Project

I am developing a professional Social Media Content Creation portfolio to demonstrate a range of short-form content styles relevant to Social Media Content Creator, Video Editor, Content Producer and similar creative roles.

I am looking for an experienced social media content creator/video editor to collaborate with me on approximately 15 high-quality vertical short-form videos/Reels.

This project requires more than basic video editing. I am looking for someone who can contribute creatively throughout the production process.

The selected freelancer will help with:

Researching suitable social-media content ideas
Developing concepts for each Reel
Finding appropriate licensed or royalty-free footage/assets
Developing hooks and short on-screen copy where required
Establishing an appropriate editing style for each concept
Video editing
Motion graphics
Captions and typography
Sound design
Music selection
Colour correction/grading
Stock footage selection
Creating supporting graphics where necessary
Producing approximately 15 finished short-form portfolio pieces
Organising and delivering editable project/source files

I have a background in filmmaking and video-editing software, so I will be involved in reviewing the creative direction and providing feedback throughout the project.

I am specifically looking to collaborate with someone who has a strong understanding of current short-form social-media content, audience retention, hooks, pacing and platform-specific creative styles.

The goal is to develop a varied collection of speculative/concept social-media projects that demonstrate different creative approaches rather than producing 15 videos with the same editing style.

All work should be clearly treated as portfolio/spec work where applicable and should not imply an official commercial relationship with brands that have not commissioned the content.
