PROJECT BRIEF
Event Videography & Photography — B-Roll and Photos
AusMumpreneur Conference & Awards — Sydney, 14–16 September 2026
Overview
I'm attending the AusMumpreneur Conference & Awards in Sydney (14–16 September 2026) as a VIP guest and a finalist across four categories — AusMumpreneur of the Year, Indigenous Business Excellence Award (both presented at the Gala Dinner), and the People's Choice: Making a Difference Business Award and Product Design and Innovation Award for Dreamjobz (both presented at the conference) — and as a contributing author in the Trust & Transformation book (Women Changing the World Press), which is being launched during the conference.
I'm looking to engage an experienced event videographer/photographer to capture B-roll video and photos of me across the event, for use on social media, my website and in press/PR materials. Coverage should focus mainly on the Trust & Transformation book launch, with priority coverage of the VIP program and the awards evening, plus general conference moments I'm involved in.
Objectives
• Natural, candid B-roll footage of me at the event — arriving, networking, on stage, and at the book launch.
• A short sequence of posed/portrait-style photos suitable for press and social media.
• Coverage of my specific stage or spotlight moments across all four award categories, plus the book launch, captured cleanly and close enough to use as key shots.
• Vision able to be cut down into short social clips (15–30 sec) as well as longer B-roll for future use.
• A short clip of me reading an excerpt from my chapter aloud, suitable for sharing as a standalone piece of content.
• Photos and video of me signing copies of the book for readers/guests.
• Getting-ready footage at the hotel beforehand — hair, makeup and final touches before the red carpet.
Key moments and schedule
Draft schedule based on the official conference program. Exact venues and timings are subject to the final run sheet — to be confirmed with the videographer ahead of the event.

Deliverables
• Edited B-roll video, 3–5 minutes, in 16:9 and one vertical 9:16 cut for social.
• A standalone reading clip (me reading an excerpt from my chapter), lightly edited with clean audio.
• 15–25 edited, high-resolution photos (colour-corrected, ready to publish), including dedicated shots of the book signing.
• All raw footage and images supplied alongside the edit.
• A fast-turnaround highlight (1–2 photos + a 30-second clip) from the book launch within 24 hours, full edit within 5 business days.
Style and tone
Warm, natural and professional — candid over staged. Should feel consistent with the AusMumpreneur brand: polished, celebratory, and personable. Suitable for LinkedIn, Instagram and press use.
Candidate requirements
• Demonstrated experience filming and photographing conferences, galas or awards nights.
• Own professional camera, lens and audio equipment (e.g. shotgun or lavalier mic) — clean audio is essential for the reading clip.
• Comfortable working discreetly in a crowded room, as well as directing a short, calm one-on-one segment for the reading and signing.
• Based in or able to travel to Sydney for 14–16 September 2026.
• Able to turn around a same-day highlight clip/photo from the book launch.
• Comfortable liaising directly with event organisers on access and timing.
• Discreet and professional working alongside a VIP guest in high-profile settings.
Budget and logistics
• Budget: Open — please quote your day rate or a fixed project fee based on the scope of this brief.
• Access: I hold VIP delegate access for all sessions; a separate media/plus-one pass will be arranged for the videographer/photographer directly with event organisers.
• Getting-ready footage will be filmed in my private room at the Swissotel Sydney — arrival time to be confirmed directly with me closer to the date.
