Freelance Content Creator – Women’s Indian Traditional Clothing Brand

We are looking for a creative freelance content creator to manage content creation for a women’s clothing store specializing exclusively in Indian traditional and ethnic wear.

About the Brand

Our store focuses on traditional Indian clothing for women, including sarees, salwar suits, kurtis, ethnic sets, dupattas and other traditional/occasion wear.

What We Need

We are looking for someone who can create attractive, modern and culturally relevant social media content that showcases our products and helps increase brand awareness, engagement and sales.

Responsibilities:

Create content ideas and concepts for Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms
Write engaging captions and product descriptions
Develop content calendars and posting ideas
Create/recommend concepts for Reels, short videos, posts and stories
Write Reel scripts and creative hooks
Suggest trending/relevant content formats and themes
Develop festival/seasonal content around occasions such as Diwali, Pongal, Navratri, weddings, etc.
Create content specifically suited to Indian women and ethnic fashion
Coordinate with our team for product photos/videos when required
Maintain a consistent premium and attractive brand tone
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in fashion, ethnic wear, women's clothing or lifestyle content
Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook content
Good knowledge of Indian fashion, traditional clothing and festivals
Creative and capable of developing original content ideas
Excellent English writing skills
Knowledge of Tamil/Hindi would be an advantage
Understanding of Reels and short-form video content is preferred
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

This is a freelance/ongoing requirement, not a one-time project. We are looking for someone who can become our long-term content partner.
