Role Overview :-
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Administrator / Operations Engineer to manage and support Snowflake, AWS, and enterprise data governance platforms such as Tableau and Alation.
The role will focus on Snowflake administration, security/RBAC, access governance, compliance, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities :-
Manage Snowflake security frameworks including RBAC, Dynamic Data Masking, Network Policies, and authentication.
Implement and maintain data masking, row-level access policies, compliance controls, and audit trails.
Drive Snowflake cost optimization, including warehouse sizing, resource monitors, query tagging, and capacity planning.
Build and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for governance controls.
Automate access request, approval, and certification workflows through CI/CD pipelines.
Develop monitoring solutions for access anomalies and policy violations.
Manage AWS accounts, IAM roles, permissions, and cross-account access.
Administer Tableau and/or Alation, including permissions, access management, and metadata governance.
Use SQL and scripting for administration and automation.
Collaborate with data governance, engineering, security, and platform teams.
Must-Have Skills :-
4+ years of relevant experience in Snowflake Administration/Operations.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Snowflake RBAC
Dynamic Data Masking
Network Policies
Authentication
Row Access Policies
Snowflake security/governance
AWS IAM and account management
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Access governance / Identity management
CI/CD pipelines
