Smoke Detector Placement Drawing

I have a current floor plan and now need a clean, professional drawing that shows the exact placement of every smoke detector. Along with the marked-up layout, I want a short write-up that explains why each detector sits where it does and walks me through the spacing calculations so I can replicate the process on future jobs.
