The goal is to create an end-to-end solution that tracks teeth-grinding and jaw-clenching events while I sleep. Detection will rely on a night mouthguard fitted with pressure and motion sensors, complemented by a lightweight wrist bracelet that streams additional data to an AI-driven mobile app.

During every sleep session the mouthguard must capture, timestamp, and store both the number and the length of each grinding or clenching event. The companion app will process these readings in real time, present an easy-to-read nightly report, and archive historical trends so a dentist can review progress.

Deliverables expected
• Functional mouthguard prototype with embedded sensors and low-power Bluetooth firmware
• Simple wrist bracelet prototype that pairs seamlessly with the guard and app
• Mobile app (iOS or Android) featuring an on-device AI model for event detection, dashboards, and data export (CSV or JSON)
• Source code, schematics, BOM, and concise build/assembly instructions
• A short validation report showing at least one full-night test, including raw logs and the processed summary displaying event count and duration

I will consider the project complete once the hardware communicates reliably all night, the app correctly logs and visualises each event, and the provided documentation allows a technician to reproduce the build without guesswork.
