Smart PG(Paying Guest / Hostel) Management System Development

• Property and room management with live availability, quick search and filters.
• Student self-registration followed by a guided room-booking flow that updates availability in real time.
• Integrated rent ledger: capture payments, show history, flag overdue amounts and let me export or print offline receipts.
• Complaint module so residents can lodge issues, track progress and see closure notes.
• Visual dashboard cards for occupancy, revenue and pending requests.
• Responsive, modern UI that works smoothly on desktop and mobile browsers.
• Well-structured backend, parameterized queries/ORM and solid database schema to minimise manual paperwork and boost overall efficiency.

Acceptance criteria
1. Role segregation verified: an Owner cannot access student complaint threads, an Administrator can see all.
2. Room availability updates instantly after any confirmed booking/payment.
3. Hybrid deployment tested: cloud instance serves the web app, on-prem service handles receipt printing without latency.
4. All forms pass OWASP top-10 checks; SQL injection and XSS tests supplied.
5. UI renders correctly on latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari (desktop & mobile).
