I am building a complete smart-mailbox platform and need you to take care of every software layer. The web side must be developed in Laravel (latest stable/LTS) and will handle user registration, secure login, mailbox pairing, a live dashboard that shows whether the lid is open or closed, and a simple settings area where each user can enable or disable mobile push alerts.
A companion app written in Flutter will run on both Android and iOS. After signing in, the user should instantly see the current mailbox status, browse a short history of recent events (the system only keeps records for a configurable, limited period), and receive push notifications whenever the Tuya smart switch detects a new “open” event.
The delivery person from the postal company will be able to read a QR code on each box with their phone to get the opening code created by the user.
Key points you will be tackling:
• Integrate the Tuya smart switch via the official API/SDK so the backend reliably captures every open/close change in real time.
• Design the database and Laravel APIs so Flutter can pull the current status and the time-limited history efficiently.
• Implement Firebase (or another proven provider) for push notifications.
• Add an admin panel in Laravel where I can manage users, retention duration, and basic mailbox parameters.
• Supply full, well-documented source code plus deployment instructions for both the web app and the mobile apps.
Acceptance criteria
1. A Laravel site running on my server, fully functional and tested with a live Tuya device.
2. Flutter apps published to internal testing tracks on Google Play and TestFlight, showing status and receiving pushes.
3. Retention rule working: data older than the chosen window is automatically purged.
4. Clear README or Wiki covering setup, environment variables, and build steps.
