Prototype Fabrication & Electronics Technician - Smart Hardware Build

Project Description:

HappyMat(TM) is seeking a highly capable Prototype Fabrication / Electronics Technician to physically assemble and help troubleshoot HappyMat Prototype #1.
This position is for someone who enjoys hands-on hardware work - soldering, wiring, assembling, fabricating, modifying parts, troubleshooting, and turning engineering designs into a working prototype.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assemble the physical prototype according to the team's engineering designs.
• Perform soldering, wiring, connector installation, and electronics assembly.
• Install sensors, LED lighting, display, and other electronic/mechanical components.
• Produce or modify 3D-printed and other prototype parts as required.
• Assist with troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Make physical modifications during development and integration.
• Participate in final testing.
• Maintain clean, reliable, serviceable prototype workmanship.

COMPENSATION - $700 USD FOR THIS TEAM MEMBER
Fixed Price: $700 USD for this individual position.

The selected professional for this position will receive $700 USD total for successful completion of the complete assigned scope.
HappyMat is assembling a multidisciplinary engineering team. Each team member is hired separately and each team member receives their own $700 USD fixed payment for their individual assigned scope.

The $700 payment is NOT shared or divided among the engineering team.
This is a fixed-price project, not an hourly position.
