We are seeking an experienced Smart Contract Engineer to support the continued development of a Web3 developer reputation platform.
The platform is currently under active development and has not yet been deployed publicly. It is designed to create verifiable developer profiles using technical contributions, wallet activity, smart contract deployments, project history, attestations, and other professional evidence.
The selected engineer will review the existing smart contract architecture, identify security and design improvements, and contribute to the development of reliable on-chain reputation features.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain contracts for developer profiles, attestations, credentials, reputation records, and verification workflows.
Implement secure minting, ownership, access-control, and wallet-based authorization logic.
Integrate contracts with frontend, backend, and blockchain indexing services.
Improve gas efficiency, upgradeability, reliability, and contract security.
Write comprehensive unit, integration, and edge-case tests.
Identify vulnerabilities, logic errors, and potential attack vectors.
Prepare contracts and deployment scripts for testnet and production environments.
Document technical decisions, contract interfaces, and deployment procedures.
Communicate progress, risks, and proposed solutions clearly.
Preferred Experience
Strong professional experience with Solidity and EVM-compatible networks.
Experience developing and testing production-quality smart contracts.
Practical knowledge of Foundry, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin, ethers.js, viem, or similar tools.
Experience with attestations, identity systems, soulbound tokens, credentials, reputation systems, or NFTs.
Strong understanding of access control, signature verification, replay protection, upgrade patterns, and common smart contract vulnerabilities.
Experience integrating smart contracts with web applications, wallets, RPC services, and blockchain explorers.
Familiarity with contract deployment, verification, monitoring, and incident response.
Ability to work independently and deliver secure, well-tested solutions.
Clear communication and strong attention to technical quality.
