I need a fully-responsive website for my small-engine repair shop that doubles as an online parts store with several thousand SKUs. The build has to be portable: I want to drop it straight into Wix today, but also move it over to Squarespace later without having to rebuild the core code or the database.
Core pages
• Home – a clean landing page that introduces the shop, showcases featured parts, and directs visitors to the store or lookup tool.
• Online Store – catalog listing thousands of items, tied to a secure checkout and real-time inventory.
• Parts Lookup – a custom search tool that lets customers drill down by make, model, engine, category, or exact part number. Speed and accuracy matter here; I’d like predictive text or auto-complete if feasible.
Key requirements
• Simple to edit: drag-and-drop or WYSIWYG updates inside Wix, and the same content transferable to Squarespace.
• Bulk inventory import (CSV or similar) plus an easy way to append new SKUs.
• Clean SEO structure, schema markup for products, and fast load times.
• Mobile-first design that retains full lookup functionality on phones.
Deliverables
1. Complete site files and theme assets ready to upload into Wix and Squarespace.
2. Fully functioning parts lookup module (search by make/model/engine/category/part number).
3. Documentation showing me how to add parts, edit pages, and migrate to Squarespace.
4. One short recorded walkthrough so I can see the admin flow in real time.
I’ll supply branding, product spreadsheets, and any API keys you recommend for payments or inventory sync the moment we start. If you have prior experience building heavy-catalog e-commerce on Wix or Squarespace, please mention it along with links to live examples.
