We are a 20-person company that now needs a dedicated professional to own our entire IT environment. The core of the job is keeping everyday operations smooth while steadily raising our security posture.
We are looking for someone who uses modern tools, ideally with AI, to help automate IT workflows.
This is not a full time role. It is for 10-15 hours per week.
Scope of responsibility
• Devices – enrolment, patching, inventory and lifecycle management for laptops and mobiles.
• Google Workspace administration – user provisioning, group policies, shared drives, email routing and licence optimisation.
• Identity & access management – maintain SSO, MFA, least-privilege roles and onboarding/off-boarding processes.
• Security awareness – schedule brief trainings, run phishing simulations and monitor compliance.
You will also co-ordinate with any external vendors, document all procedures, and proactively suggest workflow or tooling improvements that fit a growing team. Most work can be done remotely as long as weekday response times remain prompt.
Deliverables
1. A 90-day transition plan outlining immediate fixes and longer-term roadmap.
2. Monthly health report covering devices, Google Workspace and access controls.
3. Up-to-date runbooks and asset inventory stored in our shared drive.
4. Clear escalation channels for incidents.
If you have a track record managing devices, Google Workspace, and identity services for small to mid-sized teams, I’m ready to discuss next steps.
