I need a concise yet meaningful view of how owners of hamsters, rabbits, guinea-pigs and similar small animals actually choose their food. The spotlight is firmly on consumer buying behavior, not on broad industry trend reports or competitive share tables.
Your main raw material will be real customer reviews. Please locate, scrape or otherwise collect recent reviews from relevant ecommerce platforms, specialist pet-supply sites, and well-known forums or social channels where these owners talk about feed brands, ingredients and price points. From that corpus I want a clear picture of the core purchase drivers (price, perceived nutrition, brand trust, packaging size, etc.), common pain points and any emerging preferences such as organic or grain-free formulas.
Deliverables
• A clean, well-structured dataset of customer reviews, containing at minimum review text, star rating (if available), date, product name and source URL.
• An analytical report (slides or Word/PDF) that distils the insights: key themes, sentiment breakdown, illustrative quotes and actionable recommendations for a new entrant.
• A brief methodology note so I can replicate or extend the work later.
Accuracy, transparent sourcing and succinct storytelling are critical acceptance criteria. If you have experience with text-mining tools (Python, R, NVivo, Power BI, etc.) mention it in your proposal; otherwise outline how you will manually curate and code the data.
