SketchUp Furniture Model & Cutlist

My goal is to translate a set of commercial-grade furniture drawings into a clean, dimensionally accurate SketchUp model and then generate a fully optimised cut list from it. The space is a commercial setting, so every panel and joint must align with shop-floor tolerances; however, I only need the raw model—no material rendering or texturing at this stage.

Once the geometry is complete, run it through CutList Optimizer (or a comparable SketchUp extension) so I receive a sheet-by-sheet breakdown showing grain direction, part labels and waste percentages. Please keep off-cuts to an absolute minimum and group identical parts logically.

Deliverables
• SketchUp (.skp) file with organised layers/tags and grouped components
• Cut-list export in CSV or PDF, optimised for sheet goods (include panel size, quantity, edge banding notes if relevant)
• A brief note on the optimisation settings you used so I can reproduce the results later

I’ll supply reference dimensions and any hardware clearances the moment we start; feel free to flag questions early so we don’t re-work geometry down the line.
